Keyi Fan is a multidisciplinary artist working across different media in combination with digital technologies. Her work explores the tension between the individual and society within an increasingly digitalized world, considering the position of the human subject within larger systems and structures. She often uses screens and digital display devices as key elements in her practice. The screen functions both as a carrier of information and as a barrier, turning viewing into a mediated experience. By bringing digital interfaces into physical space, she examines how we understand ourselves and others within conditions shaped by connection and separation.
